Best Beach Clothing:
There’s only one essential condition to beach clothing: comfort.
Even style is relative. After all, you’re there to just hang loose
and if you’re preoccupied about making a fashion statement, what’s
the point? That’s not to say you can’t be fashionable in a
casual and carefree kind of way. The trick then is to be fashionable without
investing too much time.
On the beach, it’s a great time to shed the rules of everyday wear.
You do need the right clothes to suit your activities, whether it’s
business or pleasure, hiking into rain forests, dancing the night away
or good old beach time. But there’s nothing as rigid as this goes
with that. Experiment. Mix colors and styles and see what you turn up
with.
Days slip into nights on the oceanfront and no one really distinguishes
between day and evening beachwear. Just remember a few pointers: This
year bold prints are in. And everyone is taking kaftans along. Ladies,
stuff a Mexican wrap in the bag to throw on if evenings tend to cool.
It also adds a nice touch for the evening. Men do just fine in aloha shirts
paired with comfortable fit pants.
Beach conditions will require you take some sun protection along, for
which sun hats and shades are necessities. For something a little less
revealing, take along a pair of flowy pants that gather and tie just below
the navel and a light cotton blouse to slip on top of the swimwear. Beach
clothing should be a throw-together, effortless affair. If it’s
any more than that, you’re wasting precious moments of sun and sand.
